rub-a-dub

cutie in the TUB!

tonight....Isabel discovered she could lay on her tummy in the tub.  It was cute...she was sort of
sliding and realized she'd found a new trick!   So of coarse...I had to document it!

Fairhope bay

Here's some pictures from this weekend.  I feel like once you start putting babies in actual shorts and t-shirts, they start to look like kids :(  They look so tall and big to me.  It's so hard to believe they are 15 months old now.  They are so so busy.  Just to name a few of their favorite things these days.....their sippy cups, going outside, playing with balls, reading books, tearing up books, putting on shoes, going to the little gym each week, riding in their wagon, making animal sounds - they love animals. They spend most of their day tearing up my house, and I spend most of my day picking up, but I wouldnt trade it for all the money in the world.  They are growing, they are healthy and happy, and we are THANKFUL!

Getting juiced up before we head down to the bay...

IT WAS SOO HOT!

Play table

On Father's Day, we went over to my parents house for a visit.  Here is the only picture I took of Josh on Father's Day back at our house...my lense was totally smudged!   Josh is a super-dad of twins!!!!!!! (In case you didn't know)  :)

This is Isabel giving her friend the angel, a hug in my parents back yard.

Playing on the new play table my Dad built for the babies...just their size...Thanks Dad!  You are amazing!

funny face

Luke's "funny face"

I can't remember how this started, but I think I made this funny face at him one day, then he imitated me....now every time we say "funny face"....this is what he does, then he cracks up really huge.  HE loves a laugh!

the chase

Today I caught the babies chasing each other.   Over the last month, they have become serious playmates.  It is really fun because all of their communication is non-verbal basically.  So, their playfulness is really fun to watch because although they cannot talk, they are still communicating and doing it well.  It's fun for us to watch.  I hope they will always be able to laugh together.

This is what I think they said...."I'll chase you, then when I tap you with the fork, you chase me, ok?"....."ok"

summer fun

Here's some pics from 2 weeks ago when my sister brought the kids down for a week to visit.  This first picture I love of my Mom singing songs to Olivia, Isabel and Luke in their pajamas one morning.  They all love her so much and she's always teaching them in a fun way!

Now we all remember it, and have the best childhood memories of the famous slip n' slide!!  We called it the banana slide.  IT just doesnt get any funner than this.

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......

I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
