I like this place!

Last weekend, while Josh was home for the weekend, we drove over to FL for an evening to soak up some sun!!
We try to savor the times we have with him, since he is away a lot right now. He is working so hard, and we are so thankful for all he's doing to make this move so easy on us three.

Unfortunately we didn't have the weather..but we did have a wonderful time with the kids! Honestly, I think any child would be happy if you just told them you were going to an indoor swimming pool across the street! The twins were like bouncing off the walls when we told them they were going to get to go swimming! It was really sweet. By the time we left, they just kept saying ..."I like this place"
We just loved watching them have fun!

Isabel like any sweet girl, is really interested in brides and the idea of "getting married"...so we also got to take her and Luke by the place mommy and daddy got married! And that was very exciting!! I always enjoy going back. And our little Luke loves fresh squeezed juice, so much!! So we took him by the juice bar for a fun treat! Oh love that sweet, happy boy and his precious heart!

P.S....look at the picture of Isabel by the huge pot. The tree had literally grown around that post so the bottom of it had come off the ground. Thought that was pretty cool! And so did Isabel ;) I know I'm the only person on the planet that would stop and take a picture of that!!

After all....

Life is sometimes crazy...busy..wonderful...unexpected...disappointing...joyful...??? Had any of those feelings lately?

If we can't find humor in life...it's really not much fun is it?

Thanks to this "unexpected" stay with my parents for the reminder that life wasn't meant to be so serious!!!
They find the humor in it all and they just get it!!! And apparently...so do the twinks ;)

If I could choose one word to describe my sister Shelly, it would be: Grace

If I could imagine a perfect weekend in sunny California, it would be this past weekend.

If I could dream up a more deserving person of all that they've been given, it's her!

Life is only beautiful when blessed with amazing ones to share it with!!!! Sharing in experiences like this are a gift. Squeeze and truly love those ones u are gifted with! It's all that matters!!!

Brrrr..but what a view!

Thought I would share with you what we'll be looking at, directly out our new front door in Wyoming! Josh took this picture just last week. As most of you know, i have only seen pictures and videos of our home, so i am quite anxious to arrive and get decorating!
I don't like to post pics of our home bc this blog is not private anymore, and I feel there are just some thing I want to keep private for our safety! The Internet can be scary if we're not careful. I will do my best to share details with you when we arrive! (in about a month) to Wyoming!

For now, I bring this post to you from my tiny plane about to land in Dallas!! Ha! A familiar place no less!! En route to LAX! [who knew u could blog from the friendly skies!] My sweet sweet husband gave me a weekend away with Shelly in California!!!

Wishing a certain other three could meet us, but that would just be too good to be true! We are thinking of them no less...

Happy early birthday to sweet Kara and my BIL Brian, both born on January 16th!!!! Love you both so much!
