Home to Mississippi!

Oh my did we have a fun weekend! Josh went to Tampa for a wedding, so we headed west for some Mississippi fun, and that's just what we had!!! We had a blast all weekend. Sunny skies, delicious Mom-cooked meals :) , rides on Pops "tractor"/riding lawn mower, a visit to a brand new park right on the bay in Ocean Springs, and Pops even taught Isabel how to clean and peel shrimp! Yikes :) but she loved it! They loved every minute of being there, and so did I. It is so wonderful to be able to be at my parents home in less than an hour. Even at my age, it still feels SO good to go home! Of coarse, we missed our Daddy lots and lots and lots, and are so happy he's back home from a great weekend too.

A view of Biloxi from Ocean Springs...

Walking the boardwalk with Nina...

Miss Isabel modeling in her "Nina dress" as she calls it, smocked with love by my Mom.

My Dad and Luke riding on the "tractor". When we first got to their house, he saw it in the garage and his jaw dropped and he said in a whisper voice..."Pop tractor"!! He was SO excited, but he only wanted to ride on the part with my Dad!! Thank goodness, because that doesnt look so safe Pops! :)

Izzy peelin shrimp!

At the park!

Thanks Mom and Dad for a PERFECT weekend!

moments of bliss...

We had a happy valentines day!! I hope you did too!
This is the twins on Valentine's day night...after their m&m treat.

Oranges are my favorite snack! I only eat them if they are sliced with the peel on.
I am very particular about my oranges!!!

Well here's the twins looking at snow! See the snow??
Haha! It's not visible, but it was there...I promise!
The powdery flakes fell for 8 minutes....and then they were gone :(

Yes I know it's a crusty baby face, but isnt it so cute? I was taking pictures Isabel, and he came up and got right in the camera like he wanted me to take his picture. It was so sweet.

wedding land....

www.classicweddings.blogspot.com

So I have to admit, I am in wedding land. My baby sis Kara is getting married at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel in May, and she sent me the neatest wedding blogs today! I could spend hours looking at these!! I copied these few pics bc i couldnt stand how beautiful they were. A blue wedding dress?! Well, I would have never worn it, but isnt it pretty to look at? It's Valentino. Dont worry, Kara's is not blue :)

Kara's dress is PERFECT for her! I can't believe she found a dress so perfect for her.

Although I cannot share any wedding details for Kara ~ oh just wait!! Her taste is superb! These pictures do remind me of her venue though, natural and beautiful. I can't wait to share pictures come May.

Here's to fun girly wedding stuff!!!!!

If I could go back and choose to re-live a single day in my life, it would without a doubt be my wedding day! MAGICAL!

Who dat?

If you watch tv at all, you've heard the chant...

"Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem saints? Who dat?"

Well, it's been the chant around our house too! (Scary to say)
As I type, Josh is downstairs concocting his hot sauce for the grilled wings my Dad is making, and we are waiting for the babies to wake up so we can go to Kristen's for the game.

We are NOT normally Saints fans since we are Falcons fans during regular season, but today, we're pulling for black and gold! And since New Orleans is a close neighbor to us, we have grown to really like the city.

GO SAINTS!!!!

Besties

We had a fun night!!

The Coulter gang came over and we had spaghetti, a dance party, chocolate fondue and fruit, then another dance party!!!

F-U-N!!

my happy heart

Did you know when 2 people kiss, their faces naturally make the shape of a heart?

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......

I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
