Another funny i wanted to document - playing with their "hair" Isabel likes to pretend to be Rapunzel, so this is her hair. Little does she know they actually make that hair wig! Isn't it funny that kids dont really need much to make believe. I love that. It's raining again here - so I'm searching for some cute kids backpacks online while their sweet little imaginations are running wild!

less is so much more
Do you know this SUPERFOOD???

Get to knowin!
Ok...do you ever really THINK about how many nasty chemicals we are faced with daily? I just really wanted to share this because I've been thinking about this a LOT lately. And I'm getting overwhelmed to be quite frank! In things like make up, hair spray, shampoo, body washes, soaps, things in the air you breath? etc etc.... and the most important one we need to realize, especially for these dear little growing bodies of our children, hidden in food of ALL things! Well, I happen to think a lot of what we purchase isnt even food! And I'm SICK of it! Ok...I will calm down.
However........
I have come across a few great products/websites lately that i LOVE, and want to share with you. I love a good recommendation as a Mom, and so I am trying to incorporate more and more of these in our home for the twinks health really. It's so great to see more and more of these safer, non-toxic cleaners on the market. I encourage you to try some if you havent already!
A coconut oil based dish cleaning agent!

Wholefood based vitamins. Luke and Isabel LOVE these.

This just smells great and fresh.

Ok, now.....
Do you know what all those numbers mean on the bottom of all your plastics??
Notice NONE of them say" SAFE" ...

Some recipes i found for home made, natural cleaners..havent made any yet, but I am hoping to when I run out of the ones i have currently.
Toilet Bowl Cleaner: Mix 1/4 cup baking soda and 1 cup vinegar, pour into basin and let it set for a few minutes. Scrub with brush and rinse.
All-Purpose Cleaner: Mix 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup baking soda (or 2 teaspoons borax) into 1/2 gallon (2 liters) water. Store and keep
And a WONDERFUL website you should bookmark and use:
Lastly, have you tried Coconut Oil? I never knew of the incredible benefits of this unbelievable fruit. And to think God in His GLORY made all this for us that grows from the very ground he created! I guess it really is all so basic. It's just a matter of doing our best to avoid the harmful things that we can, and to use our minds to think before we buy into the marketing.

Colorado and Fondue!
Lots of new pictures....keep scrolling......
Josh took off this weekend for an adventure trip with his best friend, Kevin.
He just sent me this picture tonight of them atop Pike's peak. SinceI don't think you can expect a post from Josh on our blog : ) I guess im blogging for him and sharing a few beautiful pictures....
And the good Lord decided to send us rain on the Alabama coast for three days!
We had plenty to do and have enjoyed the time at home. Today after church, I took the twinks to blockbuster {havent been there in at least 3 years} but they have all the classics kids movies for 99 cents!
So we rented some movies and made fondu. They LUUVED fondue!
Put a little sunshine in our rainy day blues : )

60th at Rosemary Beach!
It's hard to believe our Dad is 60!
He is so young at heart!
He got up and rode his bike every morning, had all his kids and grandkids with him,
and that was all he asked for. We could have stayed home and eaten hotdogs for all he cared - just being with family makes him happiest!
It is with thanksgiving in our hearts that we celebrated my Dad.... to be raised by such a Godly man, one who prayed for us all our lives, encouraged us, and truly seeked the Lord in his journey with Mom to raise us. He has just given his life for us 5 and it is overwhelming sometimes when we think about the love in his heart. I really cannot say enough about my Father. His life is such a gift to us, and we truly had a wonderful time together celebrating him!
A few highlights...

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...
Be encouraged!
Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.
Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.
Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.
Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.
Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
