Beautiful Love {Steven and Sara's wedding}

It is the true season of Love when we know that we alone can love,
that no one could ever have loved before us and
that no one will ever Love the same way after us....

Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

Steven and Sara's wedding was truly in one world "them"
It encompassed everything we love about them
And brought everyone to great happiness and emotion through their gifts of
music, friendships, generous expressions of love,  giving, calamity, beauty, and grace.
I am so thankful for having this experience in my life, being a part of this celebration.
I believe each person present at their wedding truly loved them, which makes for a level
of emotion, thankfulness, and happiness that can only come out through tears..
I wish Steven and Sara everything they could dream of and more in their years together as
husband and wife.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Many more I will share soon.

May the love that you share give you strength
May the life that you share bring you joy
May the dreams that you share bring you hope
May the faith that you share bring you peace
And wherever you are in your journey through life,
May your hearts always find their way home.  Amen.

The Reverend J. Lynn James

And love shall encompass you, as two become one......

Pumpkin Patch Party!

Not much time to write..but here are some fun party pictures from our weekend!  The kids got invited to a fun little pumpkin party at a sweet friends house.  It was such a great party, and we had a great time dressing up and playing with friends.

Isabel is dressed as a kitty cat this year, and Luke is a Forrest ranger!

Our pretty kitty!

The candy display and a pumpkin cookie with each child's name.

Playing games in the backyard.  Another set of twins, dressed as cats too!

Our sweet boy decorating his pumpkin!

My fun friend Cathy, handing out prizes! Cathy is one of those amazing Wyoming Mom's I talk of!

Isabel basically did this the entire time!!

The cake pop display was incredible! I am hoping to have Michelle make the twins bday goodies next year!

Have a great week!

the {beautiful} kitchen sink

Is your kitchen sink beautiful?

Kitchen sinks are not beautiful really.  They are the place we stand and wash, and wash, and wash some more, prepare, clean, scrub, mull. They are the place we must spend many hours over. Are they/could they be a blessing in disguise? :) I like to think they could be!  I looked down at mine this morning, in all it's plain, dirty dish loveliness, thinking about a way to bring beauty to mine, to make a place i might "enjoy" perhaps?  Is there something you can find about yours that you like? THankfully I have a window above mine, and it is my saving grace.  Those days I dont want to be standing there, I am able to look UP and out at the outdoors. A window of joy perhaps.  So, today God blessed us with a wonderful gift at our local little grocery store, of these special pumpkins, hand picked by my little ones to grace the perfect place on our window seal.  Perfect. We talked as we picked each one about the colors, the textures, the different sizes, and shapes. Oh, a teaching time for the little ones.  How excited they got at just the simple task of picking out a little pumpkin.  This is the blessing of being a Mother, and thankfulness overwhelmed me as I thought how they were blessed and so was I.  That's God.   So.. I encourage you to do this or something similar with yours.  Bring a little loveliness to your kitchen sink!  Whether a pretty new candle, hand cream, or colorful pumpkins.  Perhaps it will make your duties a little more bearable...enjoyable perhaps :)  And maybe using the time to quiet your heart, pray, or just deep breathe!!!

Just a thought for your Fall day!  I was blessed, and I hope someone else might be too :)

First snow!

Our first snow!

Love them so much!!!

Lovely October things..

Late September and early October in Wyoming is a gift.

Bird watching with our sweet friends Addison and Eli.  We loved this place so much we are going back tomorrow!

We like to visit this lovely little house in the middle of town that has been turned into a sweet little garden shop/catering business called the Herbadashery.  We got our vegetable plants and soil here for our garden earlier this year.  They carry wonderful plants and gifts.  It is quaint!

What cool fall evening is ever complete without a cheese board, wine, and your best friend?

That's our lately!  The little cheese boards were hand made by my Dad.  They are the perfect size, and I love thinking about him every time we use them.

I hope you are enjoying the Fall season!

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......

I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
