HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I hope everyone had a JOYOUS Christmas this year!
If you're like me, I'm always sad to see it go, but excited to start a new year. It's good to start fresh, new beginnings, with a clean slate so to speak. I think it's encouraging to know that even each new day, we can start over no matter what is in the past!
I wish YOU a VERY HAPPY, PROSPEROUS 2010!

Here are our a few of our Christmas pictures, I had to weed out so many, but these are some favorites, completely out of order so I will explain...

Twas the night before Christmas.....

and Santa Claus stayed extra long and put together an entire train track for the twins!
That Santa is something else....I love him so dearly!
And I never knew Christmas was even more fun with your own children, than it was as a child....

Rewind back to the weekend before Christmas....Breakfast with Santa at the Grand Hotel was really fun! Although Isabel doesnt appear to be having much...this was all of about 10 seconds long. My Mom snapped this picture, and we were out of there!!!
This was a very sweet little Santa clause! But let's face it, Santa is Santa!! And well...scary!!

The fun part...being with family and eating!!
Let the holiday indulgance begin....

Skip to Christmas morning!!! Having breakfast between opening gifts...

Playing with some of our new toys....Isabel likes to sit in her new baby stroller.

Sprinkling Reindeer food on Christmas Eve....(oatmeal and red glitter ) !!

Christmas Day at Nina and Pops house! Santa came to Nina and Pops house
and brought Isabel and Luke new reading chairs! THey love them!!

This one is from yesterday morning, watching Elmo in their new chairs...

Kara Ann on Christmas day..we were opening gifts...SHE is a princess!

Checking out our new BIKES!!!!!

All the kids just LOVE to sit on Pops lap!!

Ava got some new body powder from Nina and Pops! She also
got a new red nightgown and robe set from them. She was so excited that she took a bath and powdered up, then put on her new gown and robe all before leaving to go back home that night :) Ava, you are a princess too!

Our spiffy new monogrammed backpacks from Ruthie and Papa!!!
Isabel couldnt resist putting on her new outfit as soon as she saw it out of the package :)

Shelly and Jeremy! Love this picture of them...

One of Luke's many new trucks!!!!!

It's all about baby for Isabel!
A sweet set of girl twins for Isabel, sent from her cousins in Atlanta!

Isabel loves to make us laugh...

playing with Shay-Shay...

And two of my favorites........those two SPECIAL Pops and Papa!!!!!

And it is all about the lips when you ask Isabel for a kiss :)

OH GOLDEN MEMORIES MADE!!!!!

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

Alfred, Lord Tennyson, 1850

I felt led to share this verse today...

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

It's ok to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

We want to wish everyone a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Isabel and Luke have enjoyed staying home and eating lots of homemade chex mix,
sausage balls, goodies and treats this week that their grandparents brought over the weekend.
We had a wonderful visit with Ruthie and Papa. Their love for our babies is just extra special.
We even got to go to my parents house for dinner one night, and have all 4 grandparents together at once! Luke and Isabel were in heaven!!! We are blessed beyond measure with their love.

We hope you and your families enjoy the true gift of the season, LOVE!

HAPPIEST CHRISTMAS WISHES TO YOU!

And don't forget:

It's ok to say Merry Christmas!!!!

merry christmas time

Here are a few more from the day we went to the Christmas tree farm! It was a beautiful place, and it was a beautiful day there. The sky really looked like a painting to me. They had any kind of Christmas trees you could imagine, and it went on for days. You could get lost in there very easily. They also had free hot chocolate and games, and even real reindeer. (which I did feel a little sorry for all caged up, but they seemed happy and content) We had a great time and it was a nice way to start the CHristmas season!

Merry Christmas everyone!!

10 days.....

Big "Tucks"

Every so often, we make a trip over to Josh's office (usually when we're on our way to see my parents in Mississippi). We love to stop and see him, and this time it was fun for Luke and Isabel to see all the big trucks and cranes!! I think it will only become more exciting the older they get.

manifold love

Mom

A beautiful person with her heart of gold
And surely her story deserves to be told
Not proud of her beauty and free of conceit
And people like her one does not often meet.

A VERY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOTHER, who's birthday we celebrated over the weekend.
I love you Mom, and I thank GOd daily for your presence in my life.
What a refreshing JOY and BEAUTY you bring to all who know you, with the many ways you display manifold love.

Togetherness

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......

I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
