Big girls and Big boys!

Lots of changes a coming in 2011 for us!

Now that we're big boys and big girls....[although this morning Isabel informed me that she was "little" I agreed with her, "yes, you are my little. You're my little big girl"

We will say bye-bye to diapers.....aaaahhhh!! [hopefully sooner than later]

And Isabel and Luke have moved to big girl and big boy beds!! They are doing so great sleeping in them...except for the occasional 2 a.m. prance of tiny feet we hear in our room. We've had snuggle buddies the past few nights...but we're hoping this doesnt become habit! (ya - right!)

I found Luke and Isabel's new bedding at Kukunest, and I thought they were so cute.

Now to decide what color to paint the walls!!!!

Ok, I'm off to freshen up! I have a date with my husband tonight!!!!

some Christmas memories made...

A sweet memory of the twins from this Christmas is one day when they were on the couch being sweet to one another : ) and Luke pretending to be Santa Claus. He told Isabel to sit on his lap and tell him what she wanted for Christmas. And as we know, since Isabel chose not to sit or get anywhere near Santa this year, at least she had the opportunity to tell her brother Luke....because when he got off Santa's lap, he told us that he told

Santa that Isabel wanted a Jessie doll! Thank goodness! Thanks Luke : )

Ok everyone...you MUST get one of these!!! My super cool mother in law ordered this castle for the twins! We put it together yesterday, and we've been painting on it ever since. Such a great idea!! We also have a pirate ship that I cant wait to paint too! I'll post more pics when our castle is complete.

Last night it took the twins a while before they fell asleep. Luke has been missing Josh bc he's been gone the past two evenings. So, he was sort of whimpering in his bed for Daddy, and Isabel said...."What's wrong Wu-key? You miss Daddy? Oh, ok. It's ok" It really melted my heart. Then........I heard them singing twinkle little star in unison over the monitor. Ok, then my heart was a complete puddle. I think it might have been my proudest, most emotional Mommy moment thus far. I think I'm about to cry now. Oh I LOVE my babies. And yes, they're still babies!
