Merry Christmas! We just spent a wonderful week and a half of non-stop fun and celebration with a house overflowing with family at my parents. Because Luke & Isabel were the only grandchildren, they got lots of doting from their aunts and uncles and Nina and Pops, which was very special!
It was in Luke's words, the "best Christmas ever!"
Little does he realize we'll be celebrating all over again when we get to Atlanta this evening!
We're just thankful for the special memories we'll hold on to as we head west in a few weeks. I can already feel my heart storing up these moments to keep me for the next few months. As time ticks, my heart feels weaker, but this only tells me my faith must grow stronger! I have the most amazing pictures to share, but bc it may be a while before I can upload them, here are a few I wanted to share.
Here's to you, a very Happy New Year!!!!!
2012, really??

Hot chocolate hugs!
From Lukey!
This boy looves hot chocolate!
And we looove this boy!!!
Making some special memories here...but this Friday can't come quick enough, when we'll welcome our Daddy home after his long travels!

The Nutcracker Tea
This past Saturday, we took Isabel to the sweetest Nutcracker Tea party! Mobile Ballet puts on the Nutcracker each year, and this year the Barr began the season with an invitation to have tea with Clara! Isabel was just enthralled with all the decor and especially with Clara. We also heard the story told by a wonderful lady, watched a few scenes from the play, then shared cake pops, gumdrops, and snowflake cookies! Our table was in the Land of Snow. Just such a sweet memory this will always be for us!

Mississippi Christmas!
Hello from Mississippi!! We've arrived to our temporary home at Nina and Pops house! Our house sold so quickly, so after moving out last week, we gladly drove just 45 minutes to MS to spend the last few of our remaining weeks in the South!
I hope to be blogging more regularly now, as I just got my system up and running.
I do hope you are enjoying this beautiful time of year!!! I'm slowing down this year...enjoying being "home", playing on the floor with the twins, drinking hot cocoa with marshmallows and a peppermint, and truly seeing Christmas through my children's eyes! The true meaning of Christmas...is loving a child!!
Enjoy a few photos of my Mom's Christmas decor ;)
See you soon!!

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...
Be encouraged!
Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.
Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.
Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.
Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.
Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
