so I'm a little Instagram happy today..

Two things that bring me happiness in Wyoming.....

1. The twinkies {of coarse}

2. Pradford Pear trees, blooming all over the city.  Who knew? They are lovely.

Off to finish up preparing my chicken for dinner, then go for a jog.
I have signed myself up for a team marathon in June. AHH!

What was I thinking??

Happy Monday!

Birthday pics!

Luke and Isabel's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we made a trip of it and went to Denver.  Our plans were to do the Zoo, lunch,  Build a Bear,  then a little shopping.  So we started early Sat. morning, and accomplished it all!!  The kids really seemed to have a special time.  Mom and Dad = exhausted!  But isnt that the sign of a fun day?   Then we left Sunday morning and headed home to have dinner and cupcakes at home.  I let them pick out their bday themes before we left, so we came home and decorated with Hello Kitty and Racecars!  It really was fun to get them all to ourselves this year on their birthday :)

She finally wanted to ride the carousel!  Up until now she's gotten to the front of the line, then changed her mind.JOsh made me ride this time.  Of coarse the kids wanted me to actually ride....
hey, I'm not too proud!
Luke is between us, but he was loving it!

Thought this was the sweetest little arctic white fox.  He was tiny, but full grown.

Beautiful Grizzly

This was brunch Sunday at our favorite place, Snooze.  Worth the trip alone to Denver or Boulder.

After the zoo, we headed to Build a Bear!
They have always wanted to do this, so we finally gave in and created the bears! H
ello kitty for Isabel and a football playing monkey for Luke.

Tired!  Always happy to come home...

No time to wipe faces, let's just party!!!

Let me just say I have ordered many a cakes/cupcakes from specialty bakeries through the years...
I will no longer at least for cupcakes!  These were from the refrigerated section of the Whole Foods bakery.  They are amazing!

Making my wish, and looking at my Daddy watching me!

We are grateful for another special year with the twinkie-twinks!

Moving day!

I just downloaded instagram to my phone and i love the way it lets you combine photos..
then I realized I never put these pictures up from the day we moved.
This was the last time we saw my parents...and we got some GREAT NEWS.. that in just 2 weeks

We are beside ourselves excited!

Isabel { a "little" lady }

We are on our way to see Alice in Wonderland today that the local children's theatre is performing! Isabel is so excited. She loves the classics. We have never been to a real "theatre" before. I have tried to explain to them that it's not a movie, it's a play, but I'm not sure they understand. We are going with some sweet friends we have met here {more on that story soon} We are thankful for a sunny day, and sweet friends! She wanted to pose for me today bc i curled her hair with a curling iron on the bottom and use hair spray!!

She was smiling so good, so i just kept snapping. THen, I told her to think about Lukey and this is what she did... :)

They are really growing up!

Freemont Canyon

I am trying to catch up!! Finally was able to get these on here.
This was a few weeks ago - we drove out to Freemont Canyon, about 20 minutes away.
It had a really cool vibe i can't explain. That sounds silly, but have you ever been driving in the mountains and all the sudden you come to a canyon? The depth? it's incredible. There were rock climbers everywhere. I felt so tiny. It was awesome.
As you can imagine, the boys were in heaven.

snowy mountain and ice skates!

This is not a painting. It looks like one to me. It is a simple picture taken at 7 am this morning
out of our front window with my phone. I dont know if it was the flash or what, but it sort of made the mountain look like it was painted.

Pretty much every morning, I wake up and silently gasp at what God has done, how he changes the view for me every day!!! It's all I can do to not stand at my front door and just thank Him.
Then, about 2 hrs later I received a call from my sister that she was on her way to the hospital to deliver her forth child. She checked in at 1 and her baby boy, John Brian was born around 6. Then, it all just hit me - the overwhelming GOODNESS of God.
We are experiencing some things I never thought I would.

And speaking of experiences....

They started little lessons on Saturday morning. Oh my goodness...
We were expecting them to go out with the walkers. nope.
They spent 10 minutes practicing how to get up on the regular floor, then their teacher
took 6 children out on the ice all by herself. We were in shock, but then afterwards she explained to us that this is the only way they learn. Falling down, then getting up. Repeat 100 times, class dismissed! It was really fun. I am trying to get a video on here for you. Kids are so resilient!

Easter weekend

Well our Easter was very different this year! We spent the week with our first visitors to Wyoming, Ruthie and Papa!
They arrived last Tuesday..then we left Friday and spent a few days in CO. The twins had their first day of ski school at Beaver Creek, and it was awesome!! Here are a few pictures of our week. They wanted to go back, but they were too exhausted for 2 days in a row. It was a great visit! Thank you Ruthie and Papa. Come back soon!! The kids made up a song this morning about missing you. :)

We hope you all had a blessed Easter weekend. I look forward to sharing more pics with you soon!

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......

I BELIEVE......
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11
