Nashville

This is Josh doing a lap down and back in the un-heated pool, while snowing!!!!!!  Read below....

Olivia turned 1 over the weekend, so we packed up the twins and went to Nashville!!! She is such a SWEEEEET girl!!  We had a lot of fun just being with family.  LOTS of memories were made.   We got to hang out with some old friends, do some shopping(while Mom and Dad took all five grandkids in the suburban out to my grandmothers house 45 minutes away....3 babies under 1, a 6 year old and a 4 year old.  I told them they were crazy - but they love it), and it even snowed while we were there!!!!!  It snowed on the day Olivia was born one year ago, and the doctor called her "snow white" because of her full head of dark hair and that it was snowing - so we still call her that.
Here's the better half of pictures i took. Hope you don't mind the somewhat obnoxious slideshow. Happy B-day Liv!

Lastly, the picture of Josh above is from the guys first annual "polar bear contest" - created by none other than my Dad!  He has always been and always will be the biggest and funnest party animal I know!

You did a wonderful job of capturing all the love and all the fun of the weekend! Thank you for always sharing such wonderful pictures. Mom

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
