Thankful in my 30's!

LOVE is the only word that can describe what my sweet family did for me to happily wish me into my thirties!
Each day I am amazed by the genuine capacity my family has to love, but I know it comes from my parents ALWAYS putting family first.
So, here's a little look at the party!!!!

I have always told my Mom I wanted to go to Paris!
So, the theme of the party was "Welcome to France"
The entire dinner was just PERFECT, except that Kara and Steven weren't able to be there!   Jeremy is a wonderful cook. He has a natural gift of cooking.  He and Shelly prepared a
FIVE COURSE DINNER!!!!!
Some of the deliciousness we enjoyed was Tapenade with 3 different specialty cheeses with assorted berries and butters, dill shrimp salad, italian
meatball soup, arugula salad with mashed polenta hash, and some kind of amazing chicken, then double chocolate cake with buttercream icing!!!  And everything was completely from scratch.  They cooked for 2 days ahead and spent so many hours preparing.  I can't even begin to thank them enough for such an elegant, truly special evening.

Entrance at Kristen and Brian's house....Clay and Ava always put their special touches to everything we do....

Isabel and Luke always love a fun greeting from their cousins...

Lukey loves Aunt Kristen! :)

I am posting this pic b/c i think it's pretty of Isabel....I think she is looking like such a little lady...and to say Thank you to Kara for sending me these beautiful turquoise earrings from NY!

Some of the delicious french cheeses!

The twins awaiting our company to arrive and go to lunch, on the actual day of my bday..

Lunch was so fun, and the babies were very good!
Thanks Mom!

And here's the cake Josh got....CHOCOLATE....

Thank you to all my adored family and friends for such sweet birthday surprises!

Being thirty is not so bad after all!!!

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
