She's marrying an Englishman!!

Here they are!!

Needless to say, we are all anticipating with great affection, the wedding of Kara and Phil this coming weekend! I am just so excited, I can hardly stand it! We all get to dress up in dresses and heels and celebrate a wonderful union of love. I saw Kara this morning, before her and my Mom and Dad head east for Savannah. She was calm, excited, radiant, and peaceful.
(Which pretty well sums her up anyway)
She has always had a love of old movies, music, vintage clothes, she is always reading an old novel or a period peice. And I believe her wedding is just going to reflect PERFECTLY her sense of style and elegance. It's the details and special touches that she and my Mom have worked so hard at, that is going to make it so beautiful. I can hardly wait! Please keep our family, Phil's family (flying in today from Weymouth), and all those gracious friends, in your prayers as we travel and join to celebrate with Kara and Phil!

And ...look for lots of pictures to come!!!!

Kara and Philip, may all your dreams come true!!!!!!!!

We love you so very much.

Kacie,
Your blog is so cute! The colors, the cute sayings you put on it and of course, your words. Thank you for sharing your lovely heart! Love you~MOM

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
