chocolate crackle cookies & Friday funnies!

Just took these babies out of the oven....

oh how i wish!!

I actually just found this recipe though... and i think i might need to do some baking..
my how i need to STOP hibernating! This is getting out of hand.

Now you know I've got some funny sayings from the week:

Me: Isabel, please stop. That's driving mommy nuts.
Luke: No Mom, I dont want any nuts!! that's silly.

As we put them to bed each night, we hug them both, and kiss them, so as I am hugging Luke he says...."oooooh Mom you have loooong hair like Taaaaaangled" {the long a's and o's are a little of that Alabama accent coming through already...oops...dont tell Daddy...of coarse i guess we shouldnt call him Daddy either!}

After taking Josh to the airport in Pensacola Monday, we pulled into the driveway and Josh's car was there, and Luke said "aaaaaawwww, Daddy left his car here! How sad. "

As we were going out to run errands one day, I was dressed in my comfy juicy couture tracksuit, and i had on a long sleeve cotton shirt that i do sometimes wear to bed, and as we were walking out the door, I said let's go!.....then Isabel looked at me very puzzled, then paused for a minute and said...
" No Mom, you can't wear your pajamas!!!"
Well, needless to say, I didnt change! Probably should have, but nope.

And lastly.....

This morning in bed, Isabel is snuggling Josh and pats him on the chest...
Isabel: This is my Daddy.
Daddy: This is my princess.

Ahhhh!

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
