Great and marvelous are thy works.
Revelation 15:3
For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills; 8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey; 9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you.
Well this is it -our big announcement!
The beginning of a journey like no other. A journey, we know, God has
planned long before we ever knew. We have accepted the opportunity to move to a new spot! I wonder how many spots will be on our map when we are finished in this short life. Sometimes I think adventure should have been Josh's middle name :) THis one was NOT in my GPS - for sure! It seems our time on the beautiful Emerald Coast is almost over, but never to be forgotten. THe memories of our children being born here, our first home, many lovely seasons of this earthly life have been spent here in South AL, and it will always hold a very near and dear place in our hearts for countless reasons. But many times, it is those off road detours where you find the most incredible experiences. So we are looking forward now, with an attitude of thankfulness to our families, and humility for what GOd has brought to us. Together, we have spent many nights, many weeks, which turned to many months in prayer, seeking God's direction for our family, and as this was not an easy decision, we have decided to move our family to Wyoming!
It's quite surreal for me to type that, as it is for you to read, i am
certain. It's taking a lot of courage to share this, but it's so important to share, because it is happening quickly, and I dont want you to miss this either. So, if you want to journey to Wyoming, stick around, I want to share it because it is truly a gorgeous place. But I'm afraid pictures just don't do it justice. I can't say that I always wanted to be a mountain girl, but hiking, biking, snow skiing, rafting, dare i say...camping! I could get used to that!
So stay with us! This may be a page turner.
So this is us, the night before we left...we drove to the top of the mountain and looked out over the city! Do we look scared, crazy, excited?
We were happy this night because i think this is the night we realized it was truly where we felt God was leading us...so we just enjoyed the moment.
We can't wait to bring our two little angels with us when we move sometime early next year,
as it will then become a real adventure!!!!
All GLORY and HONOR to Him who is worthy!
An update on my Mom..
She and my Dad will travel to Jackson on Monday to see a hand specialist who's son I graduated high school with! She will then most likely be having the surgery Tuesday morning.
What a blessing to be in the care of someone we know!!!
