snowy mountain and ice skates!

This is not a painting. It looks like one to me. It is a simple picture taken at 7 am this morning
out of our front window with my phone. I dont know if it was the flash or what, but it sort of made the mountain look like it was painted.

Pretty much every morning, I wake up and silently gasp at what God has done, how he changes the view for me every day!!! It's all I can do to not stand at my front door and just thank Him.
Then, about 2 hrs later I received a call from my sister that she was on her way to the hospital to deliver her forth child. She checked in at 1 and her baby boy, John Brian was born around 6. Then, it all just hit me - the overwhelming GOODNESS of God.
We are experiencing some things I never thought I would.

And speaking of experiences....

They started little lessons on Saturday morning. Oh my goodness...
We were expecting them to go out with the walkers. nope.
They spent 10 minutes practicing how to get up on the regular floor, then their teacher
took 6 children out on the ice all by herself. We were in shock, but then afterwards she explained to us that this is the only way they learn. Falling down, then getting up. Repeat 100 times, class dismissed! It was really fun. I am trying to get a video on here for you. Kids are so resilient!

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
