Mississippi sunshine filled our love tanks!

I now have a great appreciation for what the birds are trying to tell us each winter, fly south! Our sweet, hard-working Josh gave us a dear gift in allowing us to fly home to thaw out for a few weeks. It was so therapeutic, for us all i think. Mostly for me, just being in my parents home is a gift.  Hot coffee and early morning chats with my parents before the kids wake up, exercising more, sunshine and flip flops, and happy children who can run around their home and be themselves, comfortable and loved.
I took over 50 photos on our trip to visit my parents...but this one about sums it up!  Two happy grandkids riding to the beach with their Pops! I can't tell who was happier, them or him.  My golden Dad!!! He is the best. We are so thankful for this time we got to go home and visit.  We didn't make any plans while we were there, just went along for the ride each day, and it was WONDERFUL! Some of the highlights for Luke were the MONSTER truck show with my Dad, the battleship, and running around the backyard barefoot!  Isabel enjoyed drinking tea from Nina's special cups she allows Isabel to use, using Chanel powder for her tummy after getting out of the bathtub each night..{so sweet}, sleeping in the "pink room" and going to the Snow White tea with some old sweet friends!
We also got treated to a few nights at our favorite, Rosemary Beach!  We are so thankful for this special time.

We are back to our home now!  It is snowing at a very slow fall as I type, and looking out, I am cherishing this time and giving thanks for God's goodness in all things.  We will be preparing for a busy busy March..a preschool spring break, Luke and Isabel's FIFTH {tear..} birthday in which we will have a very special family birthday for them just the four of us, and of coarse Easter!

More blogging soon!  LOTS to share. I feel I left a lot of Jan and Feb out of the blog this year, but it's too much to go backwards...so I'm going to SPRING forward!  See you soon!

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
