new addition!

You know there's just those people in life that are good. You may know one, or you may know two, but I bet you don't know many more than that. They are rare, they are special, they have a heart of PURE gold, and I bet if you looked inside, it really would be made from gold.
Two of the few I know are my Dad and my husband. THey're those people that you really do wonder.....how is he always that nice?? They're always ready...and not just willing, but excited to do anything you ask or need, giving so unselfishly with their time and efforts. So this weekend, they were ready...tools in hand, and love in their hearts, to work together to build these beautiful new custom wood panels on our home!
They make a GREAT team!

About 6 months ago, we decided we would like to put up something to replace the hanging jasmine that did provide some privacy, but it was bulky, starting to look thin, and was always in the way. So, Josh ran the idea across my Dad's brain, and immediately they both started brainstorming...jotting down their ideas together.... Fast forward to this weekend.........

They started at 1:30 pm on Saturday afternoon, and finished Sunday evening about 7...only stopping to eat or make a trip to Lowes. The twins were their mini helpers the whole time, calling them the "worker mans" and my Mom was a saint...helping me around the house and cooking meals for the hungry workers! The good Lord gave us sunny skies, and happy children, and it all made for a great weekend!
Now all we have left to do is paint them white, and they'll be complete!

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
