relaxin weekend

Well this had just turned out to be a really nice weekend! We completely put everything aside and just enjoyed our little twins! It felt so very good, since we have been really busy lately.
On Friday, they sported these matching new birthday outfits that were sent to them by their sweet cousins! Thanks Emily!! : )
I think I had asked them to smile so many times, so this is them making that forced smile face ha! Look how they've grown though! Remeber this chair when they could both fit in the corner?

On Thursday of this week, we started a new class at our favorite place,
THe LIttle GYm. Luke is starting an all boys tumble class, while Isabel started her first day of Jazzy Toes...{Ballet, tap, and dance, then play in the gym}
They were SOOOOO excited! I really don't think I've seen them this excited about something in a while. It was great! They didnt have any trouble separating to their classes, and I got to watch from the window the whole time!
I once again cannot say enough about this wonderful place!!!!!!!
I also can't say enough about this lady in the red, Luke's teacher. Her name is Michelle and she is AWESOME! She taught the twins last year, and we were so glad she is his teacher again!

Then, as if the week wasnt going great enough already, I found these at a great price with my Mom shopping on Friday! They are much more my style than red and brown ones.
These chairs sit on our front yard. I am now looking for a croquet set for the twins to play while JOsh and I sit in these!

Then.....on Friday evening....
We had a date!!
{ps...white legs alert! Might want to put your sunglasses on before scrolling down....}

My sweet Mom and Dad came over to watch the twinks for us to celebrate our 6 year anniversary. We went to our favorite place, Camellia Cafe in Fairhope.

What a treat. Check it out if you need a date spot in FH sometime : )

Then....guess what??

We finally made it to the Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores!
There are lots of zoo's around us, but this one is closest and really our first trip
to the zoo locally. We always go in Atlanta which is a wonderful zoo, but it was really fun checking out a new place!
Here's Luke upon seeing his first animal, the LIONS!

Isabel and this thing {I think it's a goat of some sort?} had a convo for quite a while.
She was telling him she was sorry that she didnt have any food for him, but her Daddy wouldnt buy the dog food. hahaaha!

This was a beautiful white tiger. He wouldnt come out any further. so pretty.

LOVE the weekends!

Enjoy YOURS : )

Fun Fun Fun !! Your hair looks so pretty !
and love that poem at the end....who wrote it?

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
