Summer's end..Autumn begins..

Hi there!  FInally posting this..been working on it here and there this wk.  Just don't have the time I wish for blogging these days.

This week, my thoughts have been on my sweet parents.  They stand on the Gulf Coast, riding out what remains of hurricane Isaac.  THey made preparations early for the storms arrival.  We love you Mom and Dad, and praying the storm ends soon and everyone finds shelter and comfort.

So what's been going on in Wyoming, you say?  Let's see...in no particular order...

4 little ballerinas.  Can't see Isabel, but she was delighted to find that two of her friends were in her class!! And what a sweet teacher they seem to have.

Have you ever read the Book of Virtues?  This is a lovely and treasured gift from my parents that the twins and I are beginning to read at breakfast each morning or whenever I can get them at a quiet moment...which is usually at a meal :)  They love the stories, and I do to.  What wonderful little stories that are perfect teaching tools..but I think they love my animations the most!  We like to be silly when we're learning!!

Mr. Luke the little photographer...I told him to take a picture of us reading and i thought his angle was pretty darn good!... And a little instagram editing...

He loves life..

She works diligently at a task..

They learn with one another...our discussions are interesting...

Mommy must have mums come September!

Her smile brightens any day...

my daughter...

Beautiful horses...

 The mountain homes...

The charming place that is Jackson, Wyoming...

Now for a peak inside Wyoming's gem that is YELLOWSTONE!!!  I truly never knew how God was going to give us such a big gift!  Yellowstone is incredibly inspiring...untouched...preserved...old....just beauty.  If you can ever make it, you will say to yourself...I can't believe I would have missed this.

These pictures are only from a drive through Yellowstone on our way to Montana.  We only had time for two stops, so we chose (entering from the South entrance)  to stop at Old Faithful, and the 2 largest waterfalls in the park.  Did you know there are over 200 waterfalls in the park? unreal.  Did you know there are 5 entrances to Yellowstone?  3 in Wyoming and 2 in Montana.

The bald eagle.....see him? :)

The mudpots and pools of steaming hot hot hot water heated from the lava directly underneath...probably a chemist's dream to see.....so COOL!  A Science lesson for the kids like no other!!!

Patiently awaiting Old Faithful to show himself..front row seats, not bad!

See the steam arising?

Oh the MAJESTY that is the Upper Falls of Yellowstone River..

The Gallitin River about Big Sky, Montana...

Old Faithful...

Lower Falls...

Yellowstone Lake ... holds a piece of my heart..
Peacefulness.

Loves to get his feet wet in the clear, cool, rushing rivers..

Have a wonderful long weekend!!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEKEND !!!!!
I LOVE MY FRIEND IN THE MOUNTAINS! :-)

2 days before the twins arrived....

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......
