Sunday solutions!

Problem: Dry, sad, Wyoming hair in need of a Spring pick-me up.

Solution: Eureka- DIY Moisturizing Hair Mask!!

Sometimes we all need a pick me up! But we don't all have the extra cash for a treat to the spa or perhaps you just don't have one in your town (both for this mom)
So ..you get creative..or perhaps bored...or perhaps desperate ..and you make a moisturizing DIY hair mask! It's the cool thing to do! Ahhhaaa! Because what else are Sunday afternoons for but just for being at home for family time, relaxin and doing random things :) Have your ever done one? Personally, I love doing at home treatments bc they are FREE, more comfortable, more relaxing and you don't have to chit chat! I googled and then chose ingredients and proportions i like. I am not about to put mayo on my hair. So give it and try!

My Homemade Moisturizing Hair Mask:

1/2 Banana - mashed
100 ml. Coconut oil or EVOO
2 T honey
3 drops lavender oil or any essential oil you have ( I left this out bc i didnt have any but i think it would be great)

Whip it real good, then apply!

Wrap head in steaming towel 15-20 minutes. Take a hot bath, then rinse!

You will be a new and much improved lovely lady!!!!! Who's that lady?????

Have a JOYFUL week and remember, true beauty only comes from within!!

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
