Mothers Day wknd!

We had a great weekend! We can finally get outside and enjoy the warm winds of spring!

Saturday was Isabel's recital! She was a little nervous upon arriving and seeing everyone in costume, but left her nerves aside and did beautifully on the stage! It was a great year at ballet and she really loves having her friends in her class.

That night, we headed out to the Holman house, way out on the prairie!! Can't say enough about this fun family. I am trying to get Cathy to start a blog!! Oh the stories she could tell. They're awesome and we had a blast riding all sorts of toys and running around!
I awoke Sunday to the smell of bacon and fresh squeezed juice!! My husband is a whiz at makin some crispy bacon. We relaxed all day and went fishing that afternoon!!!! It was awesome!

A sweet bright early morning, Mother's day breakfast!

Josh brought me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers from COSTCO!! Have you ever bought flowers from them? THey were so full AND had tons of Rosemary and different herbs. I couldnt believe they were from there.

This week we have soccer games, school parties, going away parties, and Luke and Isabel are "Person of the Week" all this week for Isabel and next week for LUke so that means I am snack Mom every day for two weeks!  VERY EXCITING TIME!!!  What joy my kids bring me every day!

Happy Monday!!!

I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.
