The Clean Home

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!!!! ;). Come on in.....

But first look at this little bird atop a leafless tree.  How is he staying on there? What is he doing? Enjoying the morning sun amidst the mist as I am?
He is to me a picture of Faith.

I love clean. Don't we all? It's hard to obtain...a daily struggle...WORK. But under this mess we call "life"....there is a clean palate waiting to be found.
I find clean to mean simple, minimal, clutter less ....LESS. For me, when my home is in disarray, there is disarray in our lives. I read a wonderful article recently from the founder of the Montessori school. She described a child's mind, and how when there is clutter in their physical surroundings, they are unable to be creative. Their palate should be clean, simple, and LESS to allow them to explore and gravitate toward creativity. I. Just. Love. That.
I am working to have less, as we all should.  GIVE away things that you are not using. For no one ever became poor from giving!

So here is "My Monday Project" a file cabinet. Josh is so happy!! This one is cute so it makes filing fun :) From Target.

How many reusable bags do you own now?? Must get a big basket, fold them, and find a nice little organized home for them!  It will make you happy.

I don't like a lot of clutter when arranging tables, so I am using a burlap runner I made and a simple piece of Annie glass with a fall candle.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

2 days before the twins arrived....
I am so thankful my Dad took this picture....to remind me what it felt like to hold two precious lives inside of me...

Be encouraged!

Lord fill my heart with Yours
that I may know Your will,
those things that I should act upon
and when you want me still.

Guard my mind from useless thoughts
that clutter, harm, confuse.
Create in me a closeness
that Your course I'll always choose.

Clear my hearing, teach me
to identify the lies,
that I may only hear the truth
of who I am in Christ.

Lord, satisfy and fill me
with Your Spirit from above,
that I may truly know the freedom
of Unfailing Love.

Then planted deeply in that love,
my heart in full surrender,
Lift the veil for all to see,
my life display Your splendor.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I BELIEVE......
